Revelation Order (16)

ٱلتَّكَاثُر

At-Takaathur

(The Piling Up)

بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful

Surah 102 - At-Takaathur - 1

أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ

Abundance distracts you.
Surah 102 - At-Takaathur - 2

حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ

Until you visit the graveyards.
Surah 102 - At-Takaathur - 3

كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ

Indeed, you will know.
Surah 102 - At-Takaathur - 4

ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ

Certainly, you will know.
Surah 102 - At-Takaathur - 5

كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِ

If you knew with knowledge of certainty.
Surah 102 - At-Takaathur - 6

لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ

You would see the Inferno.
Surah 102 - At-Takaathur - 7

ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ

Then you will see it with the eye of certainty.
Surah 102 - At-Takaathur - 8

ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ

Then, on that Day, you will be questioned about the Bliss.
