ٱلشَّرْح

Ash-Sharh

(The Opening-Up of the Heart)

بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful

Surah 94 - Ash-Sharh - 1

أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ

Did We not soothe your heart?
Surah 94 - Ash-Sharh - 2

وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ

And lift from you your burden.
Surah 94 - Ash-Sharh - 3

ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ

Which weighed down your back?
Surah 94 - Ash-Sharh - 4

وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ

And raised for you your reputation?
Surah 94 - Ash-Sharh - 5

فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا

With hardship comes ease.
Surah 94 - Ash-Sharh - 6

إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًۭا

With hardship comes ease.
Surah 94 - Ash-Sharh - 7

فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَٱنصَبْ

When your work is done, turn to devotion.
Surah 94 - Ash-Sharh - 8

وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرْغَب

And to your Lord turn for everything.
