ٱلْعَادِيَات

Al-'Aadiyaat

(The Chargers)

بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful

Surah 100 - Al-'Aadiyaat - 1

وَٱلْعَـٰدِيَـٰتِ ضَبْحًۭا

By the racers panting.
Surah 100 - Al-'Aadiyaat - 2

فَٱلْمُورِيَـٰتِ قَدْحًۭا

Igniting sparks.
Surah 100 - Al-'Aadiyaat - 3

فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًۭا

Raiding at dawn.
Surah 100 - Al-'Aadiyaat - 4

فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًۭا

Raising clouds of dust.
Surah 100 - Al-'Aadiyaat - 5

فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا

Storming into the midst.
Surah 100 - Al-'Aadiyaat - 6

إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌۭ

Indeed, the human being is ungrateful to his Lord.
Surah 100 - Al-'Aadiyaat - 7

وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌۭ

And he bears witness to that.
Surah 100 - Al-'Aadiyaat - 8

وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ

And he is fierce in his love of wealth.
Surah 100 - Al-'Aadiyaat - 9

۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ

Does he not know? When the contents of the graves are scattered around.
Surah 100 - Al-'Aadiyaat - 10

وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ

And the contents of the hearts are obtained.
Surah 100 - Al-'Aadiyaat - 11

إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ

Their Lord, on that Day, is fully informed of them.

Man is ungrateful to God due to obsession with passion for wealth. When brought back forth on Last Day, God will have perfect knowledge about them.
